Samantha Thompson, PsyD
Dr. Samantha Thompson specializes in exposure and response prevention therapy and psychological assessment at NNH, with a focus on pediatric populations. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Geneva College and her master’s and doctoral degrees in counseling psychology from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her clinical background includes providing treatment for children/adolescents with obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, and depression, as well as supporting adults with psychotic disorders. She also has experience conducting psychological assessments across diverse populations. Currently, her work focuses on comprehensive evaluations for children and adolescents presenting with a wide range of concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, autism spectrum disorder, learning challenges, intellectual and developmental disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, traumatic brain injury, complications related to premature birth or low birth weight, prenatal substance exposure, and complex medical or genetic conditions. She also works closely with children and adolescents diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder. In her free time, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with her family, dog, and exploring the outdoors.
