Paulette Flores, Ph.D.
Dr. Paulette Flores is a licensed clinical psychologist, with a passion and expertise in autism spectrum disorder and conducting diagnostic assessments for children and adults. Her assessments focus on emotional, behavioral, cognitive, personality, and learning disabilities. She received her doctorate from the University of Louisville, in Louisville, Ky in 2010; and while there, worked in an autism research lab and assisted in Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) administrations. Since that time, she has worked in a multiplicity of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community mental health clinics, military mental health clinics, crisis centers, and cancer centers.
Dr. Flores also conducts individual psychotherapy with adults on a variety of issues, including anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, depression, life stressors, and severe mental illness, among others. She believes in using both empirically based and eclectic approaches to navigate transitions and to create our best possible lives.
In her personal time, Paulette loves playing with her furry friend, Zoey, and when possible, returning to her home country of Belize—to visit family, enjoy the beach, and help promote mental health and wellness.
