Lyndzee Johnson, LMSW

Lyndzee Johnson, LMSWLyndzee Johnson is a Licensed Master Social Worker practicing with Northwest Neurobehavioral Health, LLC. She graduated in 2013 with her Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Social Work and a minor in Family Studies and again in 2015 with her Master of Social Work, both from Boise State University. She completed her undergraduate internship with Family Advocates while working for CASI Foundation for Children, connecting families with children who have been put up for adoption. She completed her graduate internship with Pioneer Health Resources, providing clinical support to children, adults, families and groups, where she continued with the agency for over two years as a paid employee. She is currently working to obtain her clinical licensure (LCSW) through Northwest Neurobehavioral Health.

Lyndzee enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families to assist them in building the necessary skills to achieve healthy relationships with themselves, their families, and their social environments. Lyndzee specializes in treating clients who struggle with trauma/abuse, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, ADHD, and emotional/behavioral issues. The therapeutic modalities Lyndzee most often uses include Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Parent Skill Building, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Conflict Resolution, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Lyndzee enjoys working with diverse populations of all ages, genders, races, and abilities. Lyndzee has created, implemented, and facilitated peer youth groups, helped integrate therapy into a local school district, and facilitated a women’s group at a shelter for survivors of domestic abuse. Personally, Lyndzee has coached sports for a local school district for several years and has been a certified yoga instructor through Registered Yoga Alliance since 2013. Lyndzee has conducted workshops utilizing a combination of therapy and yoga targeting self-esteem, depression, and anxiety related issues.
