Katherine Lewis, MA, Psychology Intern, SEKat Lewis is a doctoral intern at NNH and is in the final year of her doctoral program in clinical psychology at Pacific University in Oregon. She grew up in southern California and received her undergraduate degree in psychology and criminology from the University of Arizona. Kat’s professional experience includes providing intervention and conducting comprehensive psychological assessments in community mental health, private practice, virtual intensive outpatient, and school-based settings with individuals across the lifespan. She has experience utilizing evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Kat has a strong interest and background in assisting youth with school-based concerns and difficulties, including social-emotional challenges, learning disabilities, and motivational difficulties. Additionally, she also has particular interest in working with and assessing youth with anxiety-based, neurodevelopmental, and externalizing disorders, as well as gifted and high performing individuals. In her free time, Kat enjoys reading, going to concerts, watching movies and motorsports, and spending time outside.
