Megan Koster, LMSW

Megan Koster, LMSWMegan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from Boise State University, followed by a Master’s in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University.

Specializing in child and family therapy, Megan typically works with children ages 3 to 12, providing individual and family counseling with a focus on fostering positive behaviors and strengthening relationships. She is particularly skilled in play therapy, creating a supportive environment where children and their families can access tools and resources to address challenges. Megan has experience working with adolescents in diverse settings, including inpatient psychiatric care and residential treatment for substance abuse. Currently, Megan is completing the requirements to become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) through the Association for Play Therapy and is nearing the end of her clinical supervision toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Outside of her professional work, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading, crafting, and playing pickleball. Megan’s areas of expertise include child-centered play therapy, art therapy, directed play therapy, and family therapy.
