James Carpenter, LCSW
James Carpenter started working with young adults with special needs in residential rehabilitation and the next school year immediately changed his major to Social Work. James received his bachelors and masters degrees in social work from Boise State University. During his time there he did a year long internship for Ada County Juvenile Court and one for Warm Springs Counseling Center. He is currently receiving additional training through the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program. On a personal note James and his wife had their first child in July of 2010, a beautiful baby girl named Penelope, who coincidentally also has special needs as she has Down Syndrome.
