Amanda Jack, MS, Psychology Intern/Service Extender
Amanda is a psychology intern/service extender conducting therapy and psychological assessment at NNH. Amanda is part of the team providing assessment of developmental, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs of children and adolescents. Amanda earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida in 2020. She is working toward earning her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology.
Amanda was born and raised in South Africa and emigrated to the US in 2006. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and school contexts. Her areas of interest and experience include emotional regulation, anxiety and depression reduction, and neurological disorders. She has worked in education as a high and middle school teacher for the past 15 years and is especially interested in working with individuals and families.
In her time off, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and many pets. Activities of leisure include hiking and camping, sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, and baking.
